Our Work with CBS EcoMedia Inc.

Volunteers of America and CBS EcoMedia are working together to identify and realize environmental improvement projects in low-income housing nationwide. The goal of this partnership is to make housing for the country’s most vulnerable citizens more energy efficient, thus decreasing living expenses for those on fixed incomes, while improving the environment.

Through CBS EcoMedia Inc.’s innovative EcoAd program, corporate advertisers will provide financial support for the projects, which will include the installation of solar panels, lighting retrofits and additional technologies that lower energy costs. CBS EcoMedia also funds projects supported by leading environmental, wellness and education nonprofits with Ad Dollars, further improving the quality of life in communities nationwide.
