Life had always been hard for Walter. He lived in the basement of a church but was about to be evicted. This was not the first time he had been homeless and he figured he could live in his old station wagon for a while. At the age of 75 making such transitions weren’t as easy as they had been when he was a younger man. Learn how we helped him.

At 20, Charles, a you man with intellectual disabilities, had been institutionalized in the Milwaukee area for most of his life. Charles was one of almost 50 people with similar disabilities at the facility for whom individual housing in the community was found for them.
